LYRICAL/MODERN    
 

Lyrical/Modern dance emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics to tell a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract. Dancers learn to express themselves through the lyrics of contemporary, emotive music. Dancers will explore new ways of moving in combinations, floor work, partnering and various methods of improvisation. 

 

Lyrical/Modern I, II and III/IV:

Prerequisite: At least 7 years old with placement in levels II & III
